What is Origami Pop 3D?
Origami Pop 3D is a match-three puzzle built around origami models standing on a wooden turntable. Every model, from a pine tree and a fox to a lotus and a dragon, is a clay sculpture wrapped in one to three skins of paper. Each skin is cut into flaps that overlap like roof shingles, and every flap is printed with a pastel colour and a small motif such as a star, a heart, a moon or a paw.
You can only peel a flap once nothing rests on it. Flaps that are still locked under others show a dotted crease line, and they give a little shake and a wooden tick if you tap them. Peel a free flap and it swings open on its hinge, folds into a paper square and flies down to your wooden tray. Three squares with the same colour and the same motif pop into paper confetti. On the first stages each colour has its own motif; later, colours are shared, so a blush heart and a blush moon look alike at a glance but never match.
The tray is where the puzzle bites. It has seven slots on the first three stages, six on stages 4 to 8 and only five from stage 9 on, and if it fills up without a match the stage is lost. Every stage is dealt by playing it forwards, so there is always a winning order. The three worlds, Woodland Origami, Botanical Blooms and Ancient Mythos, each have ten stages ending in a boss model, paper towers to unwrap, and golden clips that hold a flap shut until you peel its gold key flap somewhere else on the model. After the third world the endless cycles begin, remixing the models with more paper layers, ribbons that need two keys and bonus move targets.
Clear the last flap and the clay sculpture inside takes a bow on the turntable, then joins your Origami Museum: clay for a clear, golden for three stars, and Crystal, Metallic or Neon in the endless cycles. A new Daily Challenge, a different model every day, gives bonus coins. Origami Pop 3D is coming to iPhone, iPad and Android. It needs no account and plays offline, with your progress saved on your device.

How to play
- 1
Spin the model
Drag left or right to turn the model on its turntable, and flick to give it a spin. Drag down or up to look over the top or underneath; it eases back when you let go.
- 2
Peel a free flap
Tap a flap with crisp, solid edges. Flaps with a dotted crease line are still under another flap, so peel the top layers first.
- 3
Match colour and motif
Peeled flaps fold into squares in the wooden tray, next to squares of the same kind. Three with the same colour and the same motif pop and free their slots.
- 4
Don't jam the tray
If every slot is full and nothing matches, the tray is jammed and the stage is lost. Before you peel, check what the flap will uncover and whether its partners are within reach.
- 5
Reveal the sculpture
Pop every flap to clear the stage and reveal the clay sculpture inside. A clear without a second chance earns three stars and a golden sculpture for the Museum.

Tips for higher scores
Read the motif, not just the colour. From stage 4 on, two or three motifs share a colour, and a wrong square sits in the tray until its own partners turn up.
Spin the model all the way round before your first peel. The flap you need may be free on the far side, and the free Look button turns to the side with the most free flaps.
Keep the tray tidy. Two pairs and an empty slot is a safe tray; four different singles on a five-slot tray is one bad peel from a jam.
Peel flaps that open up others. A flap with a lot of paper resting on it is worth less than one whose removal frees two or three more.
Find golden keys early. A clipped flap only opens after its gilded key flap, somewhere else on the model, has been peeled. Ribbons need two keys.
Pop matches quickly to build a combo. Triples within two seconds of each other raise the combo up to ×10, and each triple scores 100 times the combo.
Save Undo for a peel you regret straight away: it folds the last flap back onto the model. Scissors snips a whole triple without using any tray space.
Play the Daily Challenge every day. Its first clear pays 150 coins plus 25 per star, and it never costs a heart.

Questions players ask
Is Origami Pop 3D free?
Yes. The game is free to play. Coins come from clearing stages, star chests on the map, the daily spin and the Daily Challenge, and the apps also offer optional coin packs.
Do I need an account or an internet connection?
No. There is no sign-up, and the game plays offline. Your progress, stars and Museum are saved on your device.
Is every stage possible to clear?
Yes. Each stage is dealt by playing it forwards with a smaller virtual tray, so it always has at least one winning order of peels.
Why don't two squares of the same colour match?
A match needs the same colour and the same motif. On the first three stages each colour has one motif, but later colours are shared, so a Sky Star and a Sky Moon are different papers.
What happens when the tray jams?
You can take a second chance, which folds the three newest squares back onto the model. It costs coins (200, then 400) or a short video, and lowers that stage's stars by one. Giving up costs a heart; you have five, and one comes back every 20 minutes.
How many stages are there?
The three worlds have ten stages each, thirty in all, with a boss model at the end of each world. After that the endless cycles continue with remixed models, more paper layers, ribbons and bonus move targets, and every finished cycle unlocks a new sculpture tier and paper skin.
What is the Daily Challenge?
Once a day the map offers a fresh model from any world on a new deal, at a difficulty that follows your progress. It is free to play and replay, and its first clear each day pays bonus coins.
Can I change how the paper looks?
Yes. Craft Paper is the default, and the shop has Washi, Pastel Marble and Gold Foil paper skins for coins. Each finished endless cycle also unlocks the next skin for free.
